Best lunch in the entire area. Get a Cuban or a grilled Charlotte and you won’t regret it. Brownies are excellent, smoothies are pretty good, and they are great at to go orders in a timely manner. Easily the most worth the price for a sandwich in the area.
Good food, slow service
Spending money on their bland food and cold coffee will never happen again. I asked to use the washroom so I could wash my hands and they told me they don't have a public restroom. Really...I spent $30.00 and can't use the washroom. I will never return and continue spending my money across the street at Double Day Cafe. Double Day has better food, very kind and let me use the washroom. Won't be back to this dump and it's dirty!New York State Law states they must have a rest room available for public use.
Get the Chicken Dilemma sandwich and you won't be sorry.
great sandwiches and desserts
First time eating at Denny's I've got to say most excellent. I had to Danny's Rubin
Delicious food.
The staff was friendly and the food was excellent.
Great Sandwiches
Great vegitarian food
Decent deli food, quaint market.
Really good sandwiches. Fairly quick on the preparation
I had a sandwich which was a bit pricey. Sandwich was made to order but don't know how fresh the ingredients are. The atmosphere was quiet nice. Its like a mini market with stuff from different areas, like one item I remember was from Vermont. Oh and theres a 10$ minimum to use credit or debit card.
Classic Cooperstown. A great place to grab a sandwich, coffee, pastry, or some specialty food items. Great sandwiches.
We walked over to Danny's to get sandwiches for lunch, and even though they were quite busy we got our sandwiches in 15 minutes. The counter person made a mistake, and when we brought it to his attention, he corrected it quickly. The sandwiches were delicious and large enough for 2 people!
Very Expensive, chicken soup had no substance, just liquid.
The food looked good... but the service was so incredibly rude that I didn't make it through the order before walking out. I've worked in food service before, so I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. I don't think I have ever walked out mid-order before. In this case, every question was met with a really rude "we don't have that (item listed on the daily menu board), you can't order that unless it's for takehout". I wouldn't have minded, except the way she said it was with such an attitude... it was like I was personally insulting her by ordering food from her deli. She would give the soup nazi from Sienfeld a run for his money... Maybe we got them on a bad day or something. Went to the Cooperstown Diner afterwards. It was much less gourmet, but the people were really nice.
Great service, very good variety of sandwiches. The soups are great!!
The vegan sandwich is so bad. The chili is tastes and looks like water, vegetables and pepper. Their POS is from 1990. Smoothie tastes and looks like yogurt ice and juice....ouch, "mixed berry" not so much. Only thing they have going for themselves is the peanut butter fudge bar.
Get the Cuban.
Great food, and affordable.
Great local deli, great sandwiches and daily specials
Good sammiches to be had here. No public restroom.
Tasty, quick and casual restaurant with vegan and vegetarian options. It has a cool antique-y vibe with old, mismatched coolers and display cases. The chalk menu is cute but doesn't have prices, and some of the bottom shelves are a little dusty but overall we were pleased with our meal and the service.
Food is great! Atmosphere is very laid back
Great gluten free sandwich!
Nasty worst sub ever though I was eating bread and the price for 4 slices of meat when I ordered a god after was ridiculous.
Great menu, feels like a small town makret, nice service and would definitely visit again.
Great sandwich options. Love the Baja Chicken soup!
Decent food, but their customer service is horrible. When we went the first time the girl who's apparently the manager ignored us as we were waiting to place an order cause she said we "weren't in the right spot for ordering" If you just seen us walk in it doesn't take a genius to know we are there to order or to pick up and still need assistance. I decided to try again thinking maybe it was just her, i call to place my order some guy picks up the phone as im telling my order hes huffing and puffing through the whole thing. I'm in the middle of asking him how long it will take and he just hangs up. Needless to say I never picked up my order.
🏠 little king of market-coffee shop where you can find different stuff like a chips, bakery, cheese, delicatessen and same time you can enjoy a delicious breakfast (bagels or Danny’s egg sandwich, salad) good coffee selection 👥 very friendly and kind staff ,m💵 €
Do you want to pay $10 for an undersized sub you can make yourself? Do you want to feel personally victimized by the staff? If so, then this is the place for you.
Had the veggie sandwich with herb aioli. Awesome!
Great food and coffee in a charming atmosphere!
We stopped here for sandwiches and was very happy with the food quality and quantity. This place is small but very cute. Three of us had sandwiches, chili and drinks for 30 bucks, not bad for the huge sandwiches. If the weather is nice I suggest grabbing your food to go and head to the waterfront park.
Absolutely love this place best breakfasts sandwiches in Cooperstown reasonable pricing in the most friendly people working there
Very good sandwich shop. Limited interior seating and the food is suitable for a picnic. There is no bathroom and the store is not handicapped accessible due to a couple steps leading to the sidewalk. The person working the counter on a very busy July 4th afternoon was juggling a crowd and a ringing phone. She politely acknowledged me while taking a phone order, so I did not feel neglected. I really appreciated the vegetarian offerings being separately noted on the menu. The sandwiches were large -- for both the meat eaters and vegetarians in our party. Prep time was somewhat on the long side for our visit, but it was a very busy day.
Amazing specialty sandwiches! I always drop in when I'm in the area! The "Black Forest" is to DIE for (though its not on the menu anymore, you can still request it...like a SECRET sandwich!) The "Chicken Dillema" is also phenomenal, the only dillema is picking your FAVORITE!
Went for vegan and vegetarian food. Food was good: vegan chilli, salad, veggie panini. Service not so good. Seating poor: tiny booths.
Atrocious customer service. Popped in for a quick soup to go and waited 15 minutes while they made grilled sandwiches etc for other customers. When they finally decided to put the soup in the cup, they left it sitting while they got the customer after me their iced coffee to go. They overfilled the cup so it spilled out into the paper bag, dripping through the bag etc. When I returned the dripping bag there was no apology. Their are many charming restaurants in Cooperstown, find another one which deserves your business.
